We will finish our trail at a viewpiont where you will be able to see the Río Clarillo Valley, before heading to a local vineyard owned by the Alyan family, which showcases their warmth and passion for wine. Upon arriving at the winery, we will taste three premium wines, each with a unique aroma and flavor, together with an exquisite cheese board with almonds, salami and walnuts to complement each grape variety. After the tasting, the van will be waiting to take you back to Santiago. Before returning to your hotel, you will also have the option of stopping at a local restaurant to try some traditional Chilean food.

We will start our journey by picking you up from your hotel before traveling to one of Cajón del Maipo’s most breathtaking attractions, located a few miles from the border with Argentina, where you will see endemic flora and fauna, as well as a fascinating glacier. Some 86 species of animals have been registered in the area, including birds, amphibians and reptiles, around 15 of which are endangered. The most commonly seen include the grey-hooded sierra finch, South American crested duck, Andean goose, hummingbird and rufous-banded miner. Birds of prey and condors nest around the highest peaks. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see them from the valley and even get a photo. After a rest and a snack, we will return to the starting point before stopping at a restaurant to try some traditional Chilean food. Then, we will take you back to your hotel.
